"Cookie Cutter's" is the bomb!

Tai's hair started growing like a wild vine, and it was so long and uneven and I've been nagging Vete about cutting it for like ever. Vete is like the typical polynesian that loves long hair, and doesn't want to cut Tai's hair until he turns 8 yrs old. Well we had a conversation about it and he agreed that Tai should get a trim, because his hair falls into his eyes when he plays. So I quickly hurried to find a salon that would take him that day before Vete changed his mind, and I came across Cookie Cutters that was right up the street from us. This place is the bomb, the moment we walked in they were so nice, Tai got to choose a movie to watch while he got his hair cut, he got to choose a toy while his hair was being cut, and he got to choose a car to sit in to get his hair cut. He loved it , and I was talking with the lady that was cutting his hair and she asked the question "how would you like his hair to be cut?" I was so tempted to say shave it all off. -But in the back of my mind I knew Vete would be so heart broken so see him bald, so I responded to just give him a trim- man I'm such a good wife j/k! So when he was done he got a ballon and a sucker, and was very happy. We had a great experience, and we will defintely be back to Cookie Cutters- and I will definitely cut all his hair off for sure!

Dr. Doolittle

As I stated earlier Tai loves animals, and we live not even a mintue away from Petco. As much as we would love to go to the zoo everday, our budget and time does not allow it. So we do the next best thing and we visit Petco, pretty much on a daily basis. It's a bit of a teaser for Tai, because he never wants to leave and I have to carry him out of the store kicking and screaming. The employees I imagine get irritated because we never buy anything when we visit the store- one day we will maybe buy a fish or something, we will see Vete is the hard one to convince. Anyways I do like to think of our visits to Petco as the best of both worlds we can go and visit animals whenever Tai wants, and we don't have to clean up after the animals, we don't have to feed them, or smell them. He always says mine bird, or mine turtle - which will be fine for now- but when he realizes that they really aren't his, we will defintely be in trouble.

Lover of Animals

Tai loves animals, big or small, creepy or crawly- he hasn't met an animal that he didn't like. On his 2nd birthday 30may08 we took him to the zoo, which was heaven for this kid. Vete and I endured through the hot, hot sun so that he could enjoy his birthday- if it was up to him he would've never left the zoo.
